Working for newspapers over the course of a decade, from time to time needs for illustrations came up. Despite working on the other side of the “wall of objectivity” in marketing, I was fortunate to forge friendships with many journalists. Eventually I married one of them. When the story called for a custom drawing, I was a go-to-guy.
Over the years, I was able to create drawings for newspapers, magazines and online. Below are examples of works done for, among other things, the Rock N Roll hall of fame induction for the band R.E.M., large format spreads for section covers and even some award winning works.
